Week 44 - Norah turns 10 months!!!!!!!!!!

Here's Norah with her very favorite possession...Shelly the Seahorse (a Christmas gift from Grandma and Pa Pa).  She has always liked Shelly (named by Mommy and Daddy) but now it seems to be a life line for her!  She squeezes this thing as tight as possible and sleeps with it at every nap and at night...

This was an exciting week that included Mommy finding Norah sitting up in her crib after her morning nap on April 17, 2012...

And then, just before the week came to an end, on April 20, 2012 Norah crawled forward for the first time!  YAY big girl!  It's so fun to see her moving forward and she has a style all her own; she keeps her right knee bent and kind of sitting up.  You might think it would create some drag but she really moves FAST!  Although I had a tough time getting some shots of her crawling, you can see her method of going from a crawling position to a sitting position...

She has a ball yelling at the top of her lungs and patting her mouth with either the palm of her hand, the back of her hand or even against your shoulder to make kind of an Indian call - something Daddy taught her.  In other noises she likes to say "Ba" and she's back to growling...

This week's bear picture was taken at Grandma and PaPa's because we're staying with them so they can kindly watch the kiddos at night while we trek a whopping 1.5 miles to our new house to get it all painted before we move in...

She's really starting to man handle the bear - not sure she likes sharing a chair with him anymore...
